E-NEWSLETTER August 2011

by chuxley on July 26, 2011

Greetings Log Cabiners!

This is an exciting Month. Our 1st Springfield event will be happening on the 21st. We hope for a good turnout, and are looking forward to making this a regular thing. Also, our 1st ever Women’s Only Meetup, in Chicago. Thank you so much to our 2 hosts for making these events possible!
We also have the last of our big summer events: North Halstead Market Days. These are always a big deal, and one of the largest recruitment opportunities for LCR. Every year we grow our membership by over 40 people at this one event alone.
On another exciting note, we are hearing the first whispers of candidates announcing they will be running in 2012. If you hear anything of the sort, let us know. We’d like to send them out a position questionnaire.

Thank you so much!

You might just be surprised at how much fun we have socially while we all pursue common political aims!
