North Halstead Market Days was last month, and we added over 50 people to our mailing list. To those of you who signed up new, Welcome! Hope to see you out at things soon!
This month we have our annual Camping Trip on the 9th-11th weekend. Because of labor day & the date on camping, we are going to skip a monthly membership meeting this month.
We’re starting to see some decent candidates announce as 2012 gets closer, and be assured that LCR will be in contact with anyone who seems serious enough. That brings me to the next point: Do you want to run for office? If so, you should email me @ chuxley@logcabinillinois.org, and we will get you all set up! We have resources available for Openly LGBT candidates, and our allies. We can help fundraise, recruit volunteers, and help manage your campaign. If you’ve considered it in the past, or are considering in the future, get ahold of us soon, and we’ll discuss the possibility.
